It has come to our attention that there may be a vote on the Toronto Catholic Board’s Code of Conduct tomorrow – Thurs. Nov. 7!

The board staff have decided to release their report on the Code problem at the Nov. 7 Student Achievement meeting. If the report advocates for adding “gender identity”, “gender expression”, “family status” and “marital status” to the Code of Conduct, this could trigger a vote.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

1. ATTEND the Board Meeting, Catholic Education Centre, 80 Sheppard Ave. E., 7pm

In the spirit of “better safe than sorry” we are asking you to attend the Nov. 7 meeting to oppose adding the gender identity terms to the Code.

Please let us know if you will be attending tomorrow’s meeting by emailing [email protected] or leaving a message at 416-763-7233.

We apologize for the confusion over dates, but school board politics are quick to shift and we have to be on our toes keeping up.
