Everyone knows the name Scholastic books. They are the largest distributor and publisher of children's books in the world, and have been a staple for literature in schools and at book fairs.

What everyone may not know, is that they have also fallen prey to the leftist ideology of gender identity and shoving LGBTQ content down the throats of children. 

Scholastic published a resource guide for grades K-12 titled 'Read with Pride: Educator, caregiver, and advocate resources for supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth and books'. The resource is full of LGBTQ book recommendations for Kindergarten through grade 12.

If the name of this resource didn't give away its obvious agenda, the guide also openly writes that teaching should impose specific ideologies on kids. “Books and literature are never neutral,” reads the guide. “By engaging with queer literature for children and young adults, you are disrupting the status quo that implies being cisgender, heterosexual, and allosexual are the default." 

The guide includes an onslaught of gender identity theory terms in their glossary including “allocishet,” which Scholastic describes as “a term combining ‘allosexual/alloromantic,’ ‘cisgender,’ and ‘heterosexual/heteroromantic’.

Academic and literacy scores in schools are plummeting, but Scholastic is more concerned with supporting left-wing agendas and age-inappropriate content. Why can't companies like these do what they do best and just leave the politics out of it?

ACTION ITEM: Contact Scholastic and tell them you don't condone their resource guide which would expose children as young as 4 to LGBTQ and other age-inappropriate content. Topics such as gender theory and LGBTQ resources do not belong in schools!
