In June 2015, Ontario banned "conversion therapy" on minors.
Last week, Calgary city council decided that counselors/therapists and even religious leaders would be fined $10,000 for offering help to reduce someone’s same-sex attraction or to reaffirm their birth sex.
Justin Trudeau's Bill C-8 - if it passes - could jail parents up to 5 years for seeking therapy for their gender dysphoric child.
