Protest Peterborough drag queen story time for toddlers

We wrote to you in December, asking you to sign our petition against the drag queen story time that Friends of the Library and Peterborough Public Library are hosting on January 14, 2023.  This event is for children ages 3-8 years old. Unfortunately, despite major pushback, the library has decided to go ahead with adult entertainment for an audience of toddlers.

They hosted this event back in September 2022, which was met with protest outside the library, but went on anyhow.

We encourage you to join us and PPC leader, Paul Lawton at the Peterborough Public Library this Saturday, January 14, from 10am-11am, for a peaceful protest, to stand up against the brutal indoctrination of children by an adult entertainment event.

Why do Friends of the Library think this is okay? Why are they turning our libraries into breeding grounds for woke propaganda? Libraries should be safe spaces where children can remain innocent, without threat of indoctrination by woke ideology.

It is so important that we stand up and speak out against events like these, that seek to destroy children's innocence and infiltrate supposedly safe spaces, such as libraries.

If you wish to join us, please come out and show your support as we stand peacefully, to protect our children.

WHERE: Peterborough Public Library; 345 Aylmer St. N, Peterborough

WHEN: Saturday, January 14 from 10am-11am
